William “Bill” J. Tabor, 71, of Temperance, MI, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, in The Toledo Hospital.  Born August 12, 1944, in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of Joseph and Patricia (Pressler) Tabor. A graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo, he married Susan Pelton on May 9, 1995 in Cancun, Mexico. Bill was a tool & die maker for 30 years, retiring from Advanced Technologies in 2006. He had attended Owens Community College and enjoyed golfing, racketball, softball and loved the outdoors.  Bill also loved fishing and hunting with his best friend, Louie, going to the casino with his wife, going to lunch on Friday’s with his daughter, Lisa, and spending time with his daughter  Kelly, at her home day care to play with the kids, who called him “Grandpa Bill”.  Bill helped his neighbors with their outside yard work, with his good friend, Dick.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sue; children, Kelly (Brian) Marvin, Lisa (Tim) Leeds, Michele Folden and Phil (Paula) Pelton, Jr.; brother, Dan (Toni) Tabor; sister, Kathleen McFarland and 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Eileen Rainwater.

A celebration of his life will be from 3-6 pm, Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
