Susan M. Deutschman, 74 of Toledo, OH,  died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at The Toledo Hospital.  Born, April 4, 1940 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Paul and Cecelia (Cousino) McClellan.  A 1958 graduate of St. Ursula Academy, she married Ernest Deutschman on August 4, 2001.  Susan was employed in medical records and quality assurance by Flower Hospital for 30 years, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening and scrapbooking.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Ernest.  Children, Theresa Hertz, David (Susan) Hertz, Barbara Hertz and Douglas Hertz.  Mother, Cecilia McClellan.  Brother, Michael (Sara) McClellan.  Grandchildren, Amanda and Elizabeth and great granddaughter, Brynn. Former husband, Harold J. Hertz. She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 10:00 am at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish,  2240 Castlewood Dr, Toledo, OH, where she wil lie in state after 9:00 am.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie, MI.  Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
