Sheila K. Morse, 71 of Temperance, MI, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in University of Toledo Medical Center. Born July 11, 1944, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Eugene and Gertrude (Moules) Griss. Sheila attended Whitmer High School and then was a 1962 graduate of Springfield High School. She married Russell Morse on February 10, 1968. Sheila was a secretary at the Connectronics Corp. in Toledo. Prior, she was employed by Hunt-Wesson and the Cherry Street Mission. She attended Westgate Chapel in Toledo. She enjoyed basket weaving, cooking, and reading, but most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Russell; children, Kerri (Scott) Russell and Gregory Morse; granddaughter, Taylor Russell; Second mother Dolores Griss; brothers, Donald (Linda) Griss Kevin (Jackie) Griss, and Corey (Julie) Griss; sisters, Marsha (Charles) Smith, Ranee (Larry) Bennett, Kim Neitzke, Dawn (Mark) Douglas, Leslie Johnson and Kendra Anderson. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Griss; mother, Gertrude Griss; brother, Larry Griss and sisters, Mary Griss and Rama Garrett.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday, April 29, 2016. Interment will follow at Bedford Memorial Gardens.
