Shannon Leigh Spino, 34 of  Erie, MI, passed into the hands of our Lord on August 16, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH.  Born December 4, 1980, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Floyd “Butch” and Lois ( Firsdon) Spino.  She was a 1999 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School, and then received her Bachelor’s of Social Science from University of Toledo.  Shannon was a social worker for A Renewed Mind in Toledo. Her friendly smile, enormous personality, and the warmth of her heart will surely be missed by her family, friends, and co-workers.

Shannon is survived by her loving sons, Ian and Colin McArthur; parents, Lois (Arthur) Stearns, Floyd “Butch” (Sue) Spino; fiancé, Chuck Huber; brothers, Aaron (Danielle) Spino, Ryan (Janell) Spino and sister, Jill Spino.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Lucille Spino.

Visitation will be from 2-9 pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
