Sarah A. Walker, 79 of Toledo, OH, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, in her home. Born August 28, 1937, she was the daughter of Edward G. and Evelyn E. (Couture) Sickmiller. A 1954 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, she married Harry W. Walker on November 20, 1954. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1997. Sarah enjoyed painting, reading and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Walker, Lynne Myrice, Chris Walker and Edward Walker; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Sarah was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Carlson; son, Harry W. Walker, Jr.; brothers, Edward and Earl Sickmiller and sister, Bonnie Hutkay.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the A.S.P.C.A. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
