Robert “Bob.” L. Westrick, 64,  of Temperance, MI, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 in his home.  Born, March 4, 1949 in Ann Arbor, MI, he was the son of Quentin J. and Dorcas V. (Lentz) Westrick. He was a 1967 graduate of Milan High School, and a 1988 graduate of the University of Toledo,  where he received his Bachelors of Management.  Bob married Rosemary A. Kanitz on November 20, 1971.  He was employed as IT Director for Owens-Illinois for 37 years, retiring in 2007. Bob was an active member of Lambertville United Methodist Church, where he faithfully served on several committees.  He was an avid University of Michigan fan, golfer, and softball player.  He also loved camping, his Mustang GT, but most of all traveling with his wife to see his children.

Bob is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 42 years, Rosemary.  Children, Jeremy (Aileen) Westrick of Chicago, IL and Jodi Westrick of Washington, D.C.  Father, Quentin Westrick of Saline, MI.  Brothers, Tom (Peggy) Westrick of Petersburg, MI, Jim (Judy) Westrick of Dundee, MI and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his Mother.

Visitation will be from 3-9 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10:00 am in Lambertville United Methodist Church (corner of Dean and Douglas Rds.) Lambertville, MI, where he will lie in state after 9:00 am. Reverend Thomas Zimmerman, officiating.  Interment will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, MI.
