We were not able to attend the memorial. During this season of Christmas, may Jesus our God of comfort hold you all in the palm of His hand as you remember Bob's life legacy. needhim.org has been a valuable resource for us over the years and we thoughtfully share.

I really enjoyed caring for your dad. He was happy as long as he had a cup of coffee. He sure was a night owl. My thoughts are with you at this time of loss.

Your journey through life had been a long and happy road, with a few turns along the way. You touch many people with your presence and you will be remembered. Rest in peace. Thinking of everyone.

I am very sorry to read of the loss of, Mr. Shelley. With all his accomplishments, he was an amazing man! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is John 11:25, which says, " Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolence for the loss of your beloved father, grandpa and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - healingwordsforu@gmail.com

My condolences to the family in this difficult moments. Please remember that God can comfort us. So draw close to God in prayer so He can draw close to you to comfort you and to give you that peace of God that surpasses all understanding (James 4:8; Philippians 4:6;7).
