Richard L. Trauth, 87 of Lambertville, MI, died Sunday, September 21, 2014 in The Toledo Hospital. Born July 31, 1927, he was the son of Charles and Katherine (Schone) Trauth. He was a 1945 graduate of Ahrens Trade High School in Louisville, KY. He then served his country in the US Army during WWII, where he met and married Margarita Mack in Frankfort, Germany on March 7, 1952. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2007. Richard received his bachelors of mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky. He was employed as an engineer for Teledyne in Toledo for several years. Richard enjoyed model trains, reading and travelling to Germany with his wife. He was a member of the Cloud Busters Model Airplane Flying Club in Monroe, MI.
He is survived by his brother, Sherman (Elizabeth) Trauth. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers.
