Price Junior Hamilton
March 14, 1925 - April 1, 2018
Price Hamilton 93 of Lambertville, Mi. died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Vibrant Life Care Center, Temperance, MI. He was born March 14, 1925 in Jefferson, MO. to F.P. and Mattie Hamilton.
He proudly served his Country during WWII in the US Navy on the USS Arkansas where he earned 7 battle stars and was a recipient of a Purple Heart medal.
Price married Betty J. Reed in Toledo, Ohio in March of 1944, and they settled for the past 70 plus years in Temperance, MI. and was a life member of the Lambertville VFW post 9656.
He retired from Riverside Hospital and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cottage in Messick, MI.
Price is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty J. Hamilton “2017”.
Surviving are his son, Roy (Linda Woda) Hamilton and daughter, Linda Hamilton-Rogowski; grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Rogowski, Troy Hamilton, Cory Hamilton and Royce Hamilton; 3 great-grandchildren.
Friends may gather at the Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road from 11:00 am till 1:00pm Friday, April 6, 2018. With VFW services beginning at 1:00pm. Graveside services will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
