Nancy Frances Pawlak Hall, 87 of Temperance, MI, died Friday, September 11, 2015 in her home. Born October 3, 1927 in Lambertville, MI, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary (Walentowski) Pawlak. She was a 1946 graduate of the former Temperance High School and was an assembler for GM Powertrain for 16 years, retiring in 1993. Nancy was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where she had served on the funeral luncheon committee and Keen-Agers and Bedford Senior Center where she volunteered for several years. For most of her life, she was an avid gardener and farmer, where she tended several acres of fruits and vegetables. She won several ribbons and first place trophies for her crocheting at the Monroe County Fair and the Michigan State fair.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Vicki Grove, Terri (Steve) Davis, Jenni Hall, Lauri (Brian) Saylor and Jan Timm; brothers, John and Robert Pawlak, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Pawlak.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Monday, September 14, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a scripture service will be held Monday at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 15, 2015, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue. Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bedford Senior Center. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
