Michael “Mike” A. Leutz, 72 of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, August 7, 2016, in his home surrounded by his loving family.  Born December 23, 1943, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of George and Alice (Turner) Leutz.  A 1961 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School, he then served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1961-64.  He married Francine L. (Hale) Hall on July 25, 1981.  Mike was employed as an electrician for 50 years as a lineman and general foreman, working out of the I.B.E.W., Local 17 in Detroit, MI and traveled doing line work during several natural disasters. He retired in 2007.  He was an avid postal chess player, and also enjoyed the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes and traveling.

He is survived by his loving wife, Francine; children, Teri Leutz, Robert R. Hall and Randolph Ryan (Gina) Hall; grandchildren, Sydney Jade, Samantha Jolie, Andre Michael, Autumn Renee, Sienna Rae and Andrea Woo; sister, Janet (Nick) Scudiero and niece, Chrissy Scudiero.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2-7 pm, Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
