Michael “Mike” J. Lehsten, 41, of Toledo, OH, died Monday, November 21, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic. Born December 22, 1974, he was the son of Thomas and Barbara (Haggart) Lehsten. He was a 1993 graduate of Whitmer High School, where he played football and wrestled. Mike married Kelley L. Brenke on December 30, 2006 in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Riga, MI, where he was a member. He was employed as a Production Mechanic for the Rexam in Whitehouse, Oh for the past 15 years.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Kelley; daughter, Isabell; Mother, Barbara Lehsten; brother, Thomas (Shannon) Lehsten; sisters, Jennifer (Searle) Roscoe, Melissa (Gregory) Barnhart and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will from 3-8 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 27, 2016, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 11949 Wegner Rd, Riga, MI 49276, where he will lie in state after 1:00 pm.
