Marion R. Mennitt, 86, of Toledo, OH, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born, February 16, 1928 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Earl and Ruth (Rhodes) Orwig. She married Donald R. Mennitt on January 1, 1949 in Toledo. Together they traveled the U.S. and Hawaii. Marion enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She dedicated 34 years to her mother, Ruth, who lived with her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Donald. Children, Don (Jan) Mennitt, Jr., Tim (Sandy) Mennitt and Gail (Bob) Ormiston. Grandchildren, Tracy (Constantine) Chrysochoos, Amy (Chad) Walker, Tim (Emily) Mennitt, Ron (Debbie) Puppos, Lindsay (Tim) Villa, Ryan Puppos, Angie (Larry) King, Holly (Ralph) Boraggina and 18 great grandchildren. Brother, Joe (Bobbi) Orwig. She preceded by her parents and 1 brother, Grand Orwig.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Bedford Memorial Gardens. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
