Marian E. Hofmann, 68 of Temperance, MI, died Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Ebeid Hospice Residence.  Born, April 17, 1948, in Jonesville, MI, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Rachael (Ellsworth) Rock.  Marion was a 1966 graduate of Jonesville High School and then graduated from the Southern Michigan School of Nursing in Coldwater, MI. She married James R. Hofmann on September 2, 2000.  Marian was employed as a L.P.N. for Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility and the Hillsdale Community  Health Center.  Prior, she had also been employed by Southern Michigan Prison. She retired in 2007 after 44 years of service.  She was a member of the Bedford Alliance Church, and O.E.S., 208, River Raisin, where she was past Worthy Matron.  She enjoyed writing and quilting.

Marian is survived by her loving husband, James; step-sons, Jason (Laura) and Chris Hofmann; grandchildren, Courtney and Bradley Hofmann; brother, Gordon (Linda) Rock.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Monday, September 12, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where Eastern Star funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm followed by funeral services.
