It's Thanksgiving Day and you're heavy on my mind. Please give lots of hugs and kisses to the rest of the family who are resting in God's arms. I am thankful for being surrounded by each of you today, tomorrow and always. I miss you all so much.

Not a day goes by without you on my mind. My consolation is that you're surrounded by the ones who loved you most. I miss you. T

Just finding out today that a very dear friend of mine is up there protecting me. I met Stel while we were in high school and enjoyed hearing her sing at the Michigan Tavern. Lost contact with her and didn’t know how to reach her. A beautiful person inside and out. Gilbert family,May the dear Lord bless you in this very difficult time. Stella you’ve paved the way keep those golden pipes of yours singing! Until we meet again. Much love, Shelly Steer

My deepest sympathy to the family. Losing a loved one is one of the most painful thing in this world. But rest assured that Jehovah our God sees our sorrows and deeply cares about us. (1Peter 5:7) May you find comfort in God's word recorded in John 5:28,29 which promises a resurrection hope for all our dear loved ones.

I'm so very sorry, Morgan. I always appreciated Stella's kindness towards Alex, and loved her vibrant joy when she sat at my fire, drinking cherry wine and laughing with abandon. What a lovely, lively soul, the world is poorer for the loss of her.

A cousin is always a child's first best friend. I am sad that adulthood got in our way of staying in contact. We take for granted we will see each other again, but nothing is guaranteed. I will cherish the memories and never forget you Stella. I couldn't carry a tune and was envious of your beautiful voice. One memory: I am usually good with song lyrics, but you had to tell me what the heck AC/DC was singing in their song - Dirty deeds . . . Lol. You will be missed.

Hearing this news has brought me great sadness. You were a very dear friend. Our friendship was so great and I have so many wonderful memories. You had such an impact on my life. You are responsible for bringing so much happiness into my life by introducing me to Brian. Our paths crossed a few times later in life. We even found out we lived very close to each other. I pray you are at peace. Know You have and always will be in my heart. II pray for all of your family during this very difficult time
