Soto, Manuel, Jr.
Manuel Soto, Jr., 66, of Temperance, MI, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2014 at the Toledo Hospital. Born March 4, 1947 in Laredo, TX, he was the son of Manuel and Carmen (Guardiola) Soto, Sr. He married his loving wife, Sara (Nico) Soto, on May 10, 1969, in Erie, MI. Manuel served in the Marine Core, in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal on June 24, 1970.
Surviving are his wife, sons Anthony, John, Manuel, and Armando Soto, 12 Grand-Children, sister, Armandina (Frank) Gardull. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, John Anthony.
Visitation will be from 4-8pm Tuesday, February 25, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd (At Jackman), Temperance, MI, where rosary services will take place at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 10:15 am in the funeral home with Mass of Christian burial following at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 628 Locust St, Toledo, OH at 11:00 am. Fr. Joseph Poggemeyer, officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania OH. Donations may be made in form of masses. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
