Lois “Jeanne” Bloom, 91 of Temperance, MI, died Friday, January 16, 2015, in The Toledo Hospital.  Born August 17, 1923 in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of George and Hazel (Dusseau) Welti. She was a 1941 graduate of Temperance High School and then received her Bachelor’s of Nursing Education from the former Mary Manse College in Toledo.  Jeanne married Clair Bloom on June 15, 1947 in the First Baptist Church of Temperance.  He preceded her in death on March 31, 2006.  She was employed as a RN for  the Monroe County Health Department and then as an instructor for Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Jeanne was a member of Bridgepoint Church in Temperance (formerly First Baptist Church of Temperance) and a life-long member of the Mercy College Auxiliary.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Jill Fisher and Kayleen (Edward) Seybold.  Grandchildren, Matthew Fisher and Kristin Seybold. Sisters, Trudy Lee and Rosemary Bentley.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2015, in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015, at 11:00 am.  Reverend Craig Killinen, officiating.  Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Bridgepoint Church or Mercy College Auxiliary. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
