Jestin Beserra, 31, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, in Deerfield, MI. Born May 1, 1983, he was the son of Murray L. and Candy (Ingalls) Cook. He went to Mason High School and went on to work as a welder and construction. He married his wife, Valynn Chapman, March 21, 2009. He enjoyed sports, was an avid Ohio State fan, and loved MMA. Jestin was a great dad; he loved tossing the football and wrestling around with his son and nephews. He was recently baptized and expressed his Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, parents, son, Emilio, amazing sister, Heide (Chris) Schlosser, handsome brother, Josh (Katina) Cook, nephews, Landon, Luke, Cameron, Logan, and Tiler, and his beautiful niece, Hanna. He was preceded by plenty of friends and family, who will be welcoming him home.
The family will be receiving all friends and family to celebrate Jestin’s life at a lantern-lighting, Saturday, July 19, at his sister’s house, 6170 Old Farm Court, Toledo, OH, 43612, beginning at 5pm.
