Jean “Lucille” Hebert, 89 of Toledo, OH and formerly of Dearborn Heights, MI, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH. Born July 20, 1924 in Salem Twp., NC, she was the daughter of Alexander S. and Cornie B. (Gooch) Greene. She married Gilbert J. Hebert on December 30, 1950. Lucille was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance. She enjoyed sewing.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband, Gilbert; children, Debra (Richard) Knowles of Temperance, MI and Keith Hebert of Simi Valley, CA and sister, Sylvia Hanley of Winston-Salem, NC and grandchildren, Jennifer Mendez and Gwendolyn Knowles. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
