Jamal A. Jaber, 65 of Toledo, OH, died Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Born January 4, 1951, in Nazareth, Israel, he was the son of Jaber and Najla (Awad) Abu Jaber. He was a self-employed maintenance and construction operator for K.I.F. Burton Kalniz, Attorney at Law for the past 20 years. He enjoyed entertaining with the many family and friends he loved dearly. He was loved by anyone who crossed his path that came to know him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Johnson; son, Jeremiah Jaber; step-children, Charles (Nicole) Johnson, Owen (Pennye) Johnson and Genevieve Thomas; 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; brothers, Jamil and Michele Abu Jaber, sisters, Lily Hovsepian and Afaf Salameh who live in Israel. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be from 3-9 pm, Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
