Harold George Ray, 86, of Lambertville, MI, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the Toledo Hospital. Born December 4, 1927, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Willard and Gertrude (Tresize) Ray. Harold was a 1946 graduate of DeVilbiss High School.  He married Gwenn Eloise (Hayne) June 29, 1948, in Home Acres First Church Of God, in Toledo. She preceded him in death in 1999. He was currently engaged to his fiancé, Karen Daniel. He worked at Owens Corning Fiberglass for 20 plus years until opening his own printing business. Harold was joyous, extravert, and there was not a person he met that was a stranger.

Harold is survived by his loving fiancé. Sons, Richard (Deborah), and Daniel (Marda) Ray. Daughter, Rebecca (John) Dunn. Grandchildren, Amanda, Nichole (Jimmy) Ray-Nguyen, Derek (Jill), Johnny (Catrina) Dunn, Jr, Jennifer Grosjean, and Julie (Corie) Ingram. 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. And brother in-law Keith Caswell. He was preceded in death by parents, wife, brothers, Bud, Bob, Kenny, and sister, Mary Caswell.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, from 3-9 p.m. at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Reverend Thomas Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be made out to the Alzheimer’s Association.
