Frederick “Fred” J. White, 80 of Toledo, OH, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016, in his home. Born May 29, 1936, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Fred and Alice (Coup) White. He served his country in both the US Navy and US Army. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation (Jeep Corporation) after 30 years of service. Fred was instrumental in starting the Prayer Table at Jeep. He enjoyed reading and learning, loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, but most all of his love for his Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife, Katherine; daughters, Sherrie, Melinda and Cindy; step-children, Melinda (Tomas) Gonzales and Andrea (Matt) Bigelow; step-grandchildren, Alyssa, Madison, Brandon, Ryan, Devon, and Tomas. He had many more grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 12, 2016, at Northwest Baptist Church, 3906 West Alexis Rd., Toledo, OH, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon.
