F. Louise Pickens, 82 of Toledo, Oh, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Heartland of Waterville. Born Feb. 18, 1934, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Walter and Mattie (Gates) Bland. A 1952 graduate of Waite High School, she married H. Wesley Pickens on Dec. 28, 1958. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2015. Louise was employed by the former Judson Baptist Church, Peoples Saving Bank and AP Parts. She was a member Heritage Baptist Church in Toledo.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Jennifer (Donald) Sampsell and Darla (Todd) Durham, sister, Barbara J. Seiple, Grandchildren, Laith, Cody, Ed, Craig and 5 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harold and Albert D. Bland.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm, Friday, July 1, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, where funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Pastor Daniel Ellis, officiating.
