Dorothy B. Thomas, 91 of Lambertville, MI, and formerly of Suder Ave. in Toledo,  died Friday, August 15, 2014 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH surrounded by her loving family.  Born July 19, 1923 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Thomas and Clara (Dominiak) Dulinski. A Central Catholic High School graduate, she served in the US Navy during WWII and was the first female veteran to receive a GI mortgage loan in the city of Toledo.  Dorothy married Robert Thomas, Sr. on April 27, 1946 in Toledo, OH.  He preceded her in death on February 26, 1987.  She was an avid University of Toledo, New York Yankees Fan and followed Notre Dame and Navy Football. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, who loved unconditionally.  She was an amazing cook, and if you left her home hungry, it was your own fault.

She is survived by her loving children; Robert Thomas, Jr., Pat (Dale) James, Carol (Davey) Drouillard, Beverly (Ralph) Collins and Denise (Melvin) Moore.  Brother, Richard (Louise) Dulinski.  Sister, Dolores Johnson.  10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.   She was also preceded in death by her son, Ron.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Monday, August 18, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Toledo, OH.  The family wishes to thank Tracy from Christian Home Care for her wonderful loving care given to Dorothy and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
