Donald “Don” C. Richardson,  72 of Lambertville, MI, died Friday, April 22, 2016, in his home. Born November 20, 1943, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Emmett and Catherine (Smith) Richardson.  A 1962 graduate of Whitmer High School, Don served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Sandra S. Fish on November 22, 1969.  Don was the owner and operator of Wedgewood Golf Range in Ottawa Lake, MI for the past 15 years.  Prior he worked for the Dana Corporation, Spicer Division in Toledo for 30 years, retiring in 1994.  He was a member of the UAW, Local, 12 and the V.F.W., 2898, both in Toledo.  Don enjoyed golfing, softball, bowling, and horseshoes, but most of all  spending time with his family and especially granddaughter and 4 great grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra; children, Sherri (Timmy) Adams and Gary Malaska; sisters, Shirley Rapton and Shirlene Pack; granddaughter, Nicole (John) Mossburg; great grandchildren, Mason, Colten, Brooklyn, and  Autumn along with several nieces and nephews.  Don was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Richardson and sister, Charlotte Mole.

Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where the V.F.W., 2898 will hold services at 7:00 pm.  Memorials may be made to Promedica Hospice or Toledo Area Humane Society.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
