Donald “Don” Lee Hakeos, 78 of Walbridge, OH, and formerly of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, in The Toledo Hospital.  Born September 20, 1936, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Herbert W. and Dorothy E. (Freeman) Hakeos.  A 1954 graduate of Bedford High School, he married Kathlynn F. Woerner on June 8, 1956.  Don was employed in the payroll department of LOF for 38 years, retiring in 1992.  He attended Bedford Alliance Church and enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching all sports, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathlynn, Children, Robin Hakeos, Douglas Hakeos, Garry (Betsy) Hakeos, Karen Hakeos and Kelly (Mike) Hennessey.  Brothers, Michael (Darlene) Hakeos, Steve (Wendy) Hakeos and Red (Tammy) Hakeos.  Sisters, Sharon (Ed) Zak and Susie (Paul) Shaffer.  Grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Tiffany, Angie, Jessica, SaVanna, Kelsey, Kristyna, Brian, Kaitlin and Kyle, Great grandchildren, Victoria, Isabella, Kyele, Brooklyn, Harper, Kathryn, Clara, Hunter, and Ayden. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
