Deborah Ellen Zink age 66 passed away at home Thursday, March 26,  2015, under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio from complications of surgery and diabetes. Born in Toledo, Ohio on February 8, 1949, to Fredrick and Marjorie Broadway, now deceased. Debbie was a 1967 graduate of Bedford High School and the LPN School of Northwest Ohio. Debbie worked 35 years at various hospitals and nursing homes. She married her high school sweetheart David Zink on November 22, 1968. Surviving are her husband David, children Darold (Bunny) Zink, Dena (Dave) Merrick, Donna (Tim) Terry, and Danyll Balout. Grandchildren by age, Emily Terry, Aaron Jacob and Ashley Merrick, Peyton Terry, Lila and Malik Balout, andAbigail Terry. Brother, James Broadway, stepbrother and sisters Chet Grochowski, Nancy Mossing,  Judy Grochowski and Barb Tolson. As well as special Aunt MiriamWertz. Debbie lived her life by sound Christian values. Help anyone you can, bring harm to no one and be a friend to all. Viewing will be private. The family requests friends and those wishing to pay their respects to join them at Our Lady of Mount Caramel Church, Temperance, MI. for a gathering an hour before services and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Monday, March 30, 2015, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, Debbie requests donations be made to Saint Vincent DePaul in care of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. On behalf of Debbie, the family would like to thank the several Doctors from Promedica for their 8 years of compassionate care, the girls at Alexis Dialysis Center, and the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
