Daniel “Dan” I. Czyznik, 83 of Toledo, OH, died Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Perrysburg Commons. Born September 22, 1932, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Frank and Cecelia (Juszynski) Czyznikiewicz. A 1952 graduate of Woodward High School, he married Rosemary Malaska on Oct. 9, 1954. Dan was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Toledo for over 35 years, retiring 1989. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. Dan enjoyed fishing and cooking.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary; sons, Jeffrey and Glenn (Carri-anne) Czyznik; brother, Henry (Dorothy) Czyznik; twin sister, Lucille Rombkowski; grandchildren, Matthew, Anne-marie and Erin; special nieces, Cindi and Tammy.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo, OH, where he will lie in state after 9:00 am. Interment Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
