Corporal Chad R. Brammer, 23 of Lambertville, MI, died Friday, July 4, 2014. He was struck by a boat while jet skiing on Lake Havasu, Arizona. Born November 12, 1990 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Mark and Rhonda (Sandlin) Brammer. A 2008 graduate of Bedford High School, he joined the US Marines in November of 2012 and was currently stationed in 29Palms, California. Prior, Chad was employed by Team Systems in Toledo, OH. He loved snowboarding, rock climbing, sky diving, jet skiing, and the ocean, but the biggest part of Chad’s life was his family, friends and helping others.
He is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Rhonda Brammer. Sister, Amanda (Matt) Young. Brother, Justin Brammer and grandmother, Madalyn Kanitz. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Jackie Sandlin and Charles Kanitz.
Visitation will be from 3-7 pm, Thursday, July 17, 2014, in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11:00 am. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors or Monroe County Humane Society.
