Clarence L. “Cacky” Rendle, 88 of Lambertville, MI, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH. Born November 29, 1926, he was the son of Leonard and Minnie (Heidelberg) Rendle. Cacky was a self-employed farmer and carpenter all his life. He was a member of the Sylvania First United Methodist Church, VFW, Post 2898 and the Sylvania Moose Lodge, 1579.
He is survived by his loving wife, Velma, Children, Rita (James) Hatker, Larry Rendle, and Thomas (Erika) Rendle, step daughters, Charlene Brock, Barbara (Dave) Rudd, Diane Brock and Suzan Russell, grandchildren, Debra (Edward) Kowalski, Laura (Timothy) Kruger, Scott Hatker, Nicole Rendle, Kristina (David Dugan) Rendle, Sgt. Marc Rendle and Jenna Rudd, Great grandchildren, Andrew Czop, Alex & Tyler Hatker, Kirsten Kowalski, and Reyann & Brady Kruger. He was preceded in death by parents, first wife, Lois (Jennings) Rendle and son, John Rendle.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Monday, May 18, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
