Brian R. Knapp, 56 of Montverde, Florida, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, in The Toledo Hospital. Born April 2, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of Norman D. and Greta M. (Cole) Knapp. He was a 1978 graduate of Whitmer High School. Brian was employed as a plumber for Pontiac Public Schools and then Orange County, Florida Schools. He enjoyed Harley Davison Motorcycles, camping, boating, spending time with family, friends and especially his granddaughter, Grace.
Brian is survived by his loving children, Aaron (Christina) Knapp, Natasha Gray, Nicole (Robert) Spina and Benjamin (Tiffany) Voorhees; Mother, Greta (Jack) Detro; sisters, Lisa Greene, Linda (Wes) Phelps, Debbie (Jeff) Starkey and Jackie Trujillo; brothers, Earl Dean (Lori) Knapp, John (Maria) Detro, Robert (Noyemi) Detro and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, brother-in-law, Robert Greene and brother, Michael Detro.
