Billy T. Bond, 79 of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, November 8, 2015, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perryburg Twp., OH. Born June 21, 1936, in Crooked Creek, KY, he was the son of Franklin and Mary Belle (Moore) Bond. He married Patricia Ann Navarre on April 29, 1960. Billy was employed as a precision grinder for GM Powertrain for over 31 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, but his greatest joy was his love for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia; children, Lisa (Keith) Miller, Peggy Rifai and Michael (Bonnie) Bond; brothers, Elmer, Nathan, Franklin and Lloyd Bond; sister, Sallie Mason, 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 4 brothers and 1 granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 13, 2015. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
