Betty-Jane M. McCormick, 69 of Temperance, MI, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 in The Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born August 3, 1945 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Mildred (Geis) Vogeli. She married David L. McCormick on June 2, 1962. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2011, 6 months prior to their 50th anniversary. Betty-Jane retired from Bedford Public Schools as a custodian after 10 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, reading, taking cruises with her husband and her 3 dogs, Nicolas, Molly and Bella.
Surviving are her loving children; David C. (Debbie) McCormick, Kimberlie (Robert) Ohneck and Victoria (James) Fackelman. Grandchildren; Nicholas, Rachael (Nick), Ryan, Katie (Mike), Alex, David, Kyle, Madison, and Chad. Great grandchildren, Jimmy, Grace and Max. Brother, Fredrick (Tina) Vogeli and sister, Joan Green.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11:00 am. Reverend Thomas Zimmerman, officiating. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
