Barbara J. Frederick, 77, of Lambertville, MI, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania. Born November 21, 1938, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of MC and Ida (Goldsmith) Kinney. She married Charles Frederick, Jr. on January 10, 1975. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2009. Barbara was an active member of Bridgepoint Church (formerly First Baptist Church of Temperance), where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening and crafts, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her loving children; Laura (John) Sorrell, Christine (Jim) Nevers, Danelle (Paul) Zemenski, Deb Schmidt, and Dana (Dave) Copciac. 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Carol Kinney and brother, Mainard Kinney.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Monday, October 17, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11:00 am. Reverend Craig Killinen, officiating.
