Barbara Ann Boehmer, 60, of Lambertville, MI, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep in the comfort of her own home on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Born December 12, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Wilbert and Helen (Ruetz) Krieger. Barbara spent most of her time with her children, grandchildren and former husband and best friend, Donald Boehmer, Jr. She loved going with them to Wampers Lake, Cedar Point and was actively involved with their schooling and sporting events. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be missed immensely.
Barbara is survived by her loving children, Jami Boehmer and Donald “B” Boehmer, III; grandchildren, Chaise, Chaiden, Brady, Brody, and Andi. She also leaves behind her 4 golden retrievers, who were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest daughter, Jodi Boehmer.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 9144 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
