Austin H. Ellison, 70, of Temperance, MI, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 16, 2018, in his home.  Born January 18, 1947, in Monroe, MI, he was the son of Austin H. and Ella (Bussell) Ellison, Sr.  A US Army veteran during the Vietnam War, he married Judith A. Pratt on August 17, 1979.  He was employed as a bus driver for Monroe Public Schools for over 35 years. He was an avid Detroit Tiger’s Fan and enjoyed playing his bass guitar.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judith; children, Lori Benton, Michael (Allison) Ellison, and Amy Ellison; step-children, Jodie (Shawn) Barker, Lori (Larry) Bussell, and Michael (Barb) Stutsman; brothers, Harley (Violet) Ellison, Olis Ellison, and Ronald Ellison; sister, Yvonne DeNike and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Axie Ivey; brothers, Louis and Earl Ellison.
